So I, like others I know, have been brought back to the blogging world. I've debated over whether or not to do this, but in some ways I feel like I have no other choice. Obviously I do but writing can be very therapeutic at times.

So here goes nothing.

My life is crazy busy right now. I've got school, 3 jobs (2 all the time and the other 1 is at home), homework, a wedding to plan, and family, friends, and Eric who all want my time. Please, don't get me wrong, I love the feeling of being wanted. But there comes a point in time, where you just need alone time, quiet time, whatever you want to call it.

We actually talked about quiet time today in chapel-yes I do sometimes pay attention, I can't help it I'm a poor college student so I can't afford to do that very often ;) The college pastor or whatever they're calling him nowadays, said we all need to have some 'nothing time' where we do nothing. No talking, no homework, no music, no anything. Just be quiet and listen. Silence is a powerful thing. It bothers a lot of people. I know people who constantly have to have some noise somewhere. I love silence. Sometimes though, the stillness of silence can be very loud. That may not make a whole lot of sense when you first think about it but just put it in the back of your mind. As I sit here at work, IWU not either of the other 2, it is very silent. The only sounds I hear are of course my fingers hitting the keys, the occasional squeak of a chair in the lab and the hum of the lights. Its very nice.

Suzie and I had a wonderful little chat last night. Some things that we talked about were pretty hard to get out but it felt good to finally get things out of my head. It was just a really good 4 1/2 hours.

Well now that the office is empty, I can finally leave. I'm going home this weekend and not working. I can't wait!
